I was not surprised to read the above story, North Wales Police decide to kill a petrified dog loose on the A55, rather than close the road to ensure its safety and the safety of road users.
The dog was running in and out of oncoming traffic on an unlit stretch of the road between the Llanfairfechan roundabout and the Conwy tunnel in the early hours of Tuesday, forcing a HGV and car to swerve to avoid it while officers were on the carriageway.
Chief Inspector Darren Wareing of the roads policing unit said: “Both officers have their own dogs and did not take this decision lightly. Due to the seriousness of the incident it needed bringing to a conclusion quickly for the safety of all concerned.”
North Wales Police latest excuse for their unprofessional and selfish actions.
If one of the two idiotic orificers was bitten whilst trying to retrieve the terrified animal, well it is completely understandable, the poor dog was obviously terrified. (Last year when these bastards illegally raided my home, had I a gun I would have shot them let alone bite them).
I doubt the Orificer was bitten, just another lie to justify the actions of this corrupt police force.
Why did the North Wales Police not close the road? it would have created a safer and good conclusion to the incident, but no instead these cretins decided to run the poor animal over.
In the same area there is a hospital for the care of people who cannot care for themselves, if one of the patients had escaped and was wandering aimlessly on the A55, would the North Wales Police have been justified in running the patient down to bring a swift conclusion?
As I have already stated North Wales Police are the most inept bunch of corrupt bastards I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, & no doubt you can tell by my tone I have absolutely no respect for any of these horrible bent bastards.
These are some of the comments people have made regarding this disgraceful act:
Louise Owen said: “Disgusting!!! I do NOT approve!!! Do they have no shame running a dog over. Why not dart it to keep under control??”
Huw For Delyn AM, 2016 agreed: “This is disgusting poor dog . Hope the RSPCA look in to this.”
Nicky Evans added: “Wrong on every level. Surely the safe option would have been to stop traffic and usher the dog off the carriageway. I’m totally disgusted.”
Shane Hughes wrote: “Words fail me!”
Lynn Evans questioned: “How could that possibly have been the only safe option?”
Sharon Jones thinks: “That is shocking, there must of been another way. I’m sure the road wasn’t busy at 3am. They could of easily closed the road off… Or is that too much hard work for them. Just took the easy option.”
Kelly Eyre said: “Shocking and completely unethical! That is not a humane way to euthanise a dog and they should be ashamed of themselves.”
Sheila Hayler agrees: “How awful is this story, that poor dog. Made me sick to my stomach.”
Kate Hayward was of the same opinion: “Disgusting. Poor dog was scared”
Jacquie Rogers simply wrote: “Unbelievable!”
Suzanne Sullivan thinks: “Disgusting! It was 3am, not going to be many people or traffic around for it to cause much harm?”

Awen Tudor said: “How long would it take to close roads and contact a vet to sedate???”
Edward Donna thinks: “Bright yes best way x.”
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “Other methods of destruction were considered, but were ruled out on the grounds of public safety.” Bollocks.
